Character Club Curriculum

This curriculum takes you one chapter at a time through the complete Character Club Fall Semester.

Use as a 40 day guide or combine lessons to get through each book quicker.

This curriculum follows the same pattern for each book. Most lessons have 5 sections but some days may not have any enrichment or prep. However, you may do more than one day in each lesson if you choose.

Prep is usually the first section. This tells you what materials you will need for that day’s lesson. Some days there is absolutely NO prep and then you can dive right in. Other days you may need to collect some items.

Explore is the next section. This is generally a teaser to start a discussion about what may come in the chapter.

Read is the third section. This may be self explanatory but it tells you what chapter to read for that lesson.

Discuss is different from Explore because it refers you to the discussion questions already available in the book. It reveals on what page numbers you will find each specific chapter’s questions.

Enrichment is the final section. This does not occur in every day’s lesson but provides some opportunities to dig deeper into the content.
